This whole entire look is bringing me back to my Private School days, from Kindergarten all the way through 8th grade I wore a full out school uniform. And when I say uniform I am not referring to the khaki pants and white polo collared shirts children wear today! I’m talking over the knee socks, plaid pleated skirts/dresses, and oxfords *inserts ultimate struggle face.* I guess it is safe to say those dreaded days sort of inspired this evolved school uniform look!
In effort to try and add some type of color into my consistent black and gray wardrobe, I decided to go with a blush toned top. I really am not the one for vibrant and super loud colors, but shout out to the Solange’s of the world who can pull that off, it’s just not me, lol. Blush is very subtle, but adds the perfect hint of color to any wardrobe.
I cannot speak for anyone else, but I have to say I am thrilled we are coming out of the Winter season, and into Spring which doesn’t require as much layering, come through March!
PSA: (IT’S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH) and i’ll be turning the big quarter century!
A staple accessory that I will definitely be incorporating into my spring wardrobe: Statement Necklaces. I seriously can’t get enough, a necklace like this can add so much to the simplest look. I still have not found the courage to spend the super big bucks on a statement necklace, but as soon as I find the perfect one that is worth my coins, I will definitely invest!
