The moment that I have been waiting for, for what seems like FOREVER! I have successfully received my Bachelors in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing from Georgia Gwinnett College. As I have stated before in previous posts, this last semester has been crazy for me. Trying to balance school as well as work, and STILL trying to make time for myself and things I wanted to do was definitely a task, but well worth it.
When I say this is my biggest accomplishment YET, I sincerely mean it! At times College was definitely a struggle, and I had my moments of wanting to give up and thinking this was not for me. BUT! God had a better plan for my life. With the right amount of prayer, perseverance, endless studying and hard work I made it and I am so thankful to those who supported and encouraged me along this journey.
Life itself is a journey, and I do not want to get overly sentimental and mushy, but I want to encourage everyone to follow their dreams no matter what it may be, NO dream is too big or too small. Also, I want you all to understand the importance of investing in yourself and your future. One of my favorite quotes in regards to Education comes from the ever so inspiring Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Continue to educate yourself, not only in terms of schooling but educate yourself on your culture, your background, your goals, your lineage etc. Only YOU can determine your future, that is why I am placing such a huge emphasis on investing in yourself, because you are the author of your personal life story. 2015 is only five days away, and I am anticipating great things for you all as well as myself.
Happy Holidays! -xoxo
